Why the name?

This site is oriented towards JavaScript developers.

It is React-centric, since so many startups, plugins, and pieces of the JavaScript ecosystem rely on it.

If you're writing an app that communicates with a database, React is an optimal choice.

One of the libraries I use the most, AWS Amplify, combines beautifully with React.

For a blog, I like Svelte (which this page is written in).

For other cases, your needs may vary.

The name JavaScript Page is a tribute to JavaScript and all it's done for the web, as it continues to grow and develop - with no end in sight.

Wherever JavaScript goes, we'll be there to watch it grow - and write what we learn.
